James Madison University - Theta Iota Chapter
Congratulations to the 44 new members from recruitment 2007!! It looks like the Ivy theme is here to stay!

University of Virginia - Zeta Iota Deuteron
At their annual Parents Weekend, sisters held a Formal at the Omni Hotel, a Silent Auction, and a Red Dress Brunch with their mothers to raise awareness for women’s cardiac care. They made about $7500 for the Alpha Phi foundation! They are also establishing a relationship with the Heart Center at UVa’s hospital. They participated in a walk in February for Wear Red Day, and painted Beta Bridge for them to raise awareness of their new www.LiveRedUVa.com website.

Christopher Newport University - Theta Phi Chapter
The Theta Phi chapter of Alpha Phi at Christopher Newport University had a very active and exciting spring semester. They kicked off with a very successful recruitment, bidding 16 new members who composed the Alpha Gamma class. These 16 young women have brought new energy to the chapter that has re-energized all of the sisters and reminded them of what a great time the new member period is! Big Sister revealing took place at Huntington Beach in Newport News after an overnight retreat for the Alpha Gammas. A beautiful initiation was conducted on campus and sisters enjoyed a luncheon together afterwards. Numerous events took place during the semester as well. Alpha Phi participated in CNU's Annual Greek Week, Relay for Life, Wellness Fair, Spring Fest, and other campus events. Also, Alpha Phi's King of Hearts was another huge success, packing the on-campus Gaines Theatre with many university students. Sisters ended the semester with a relaxing beach retreat at Sandbridge Beach on Virginia's portion of the Outer Banks. Chick flicks, entertaining games, and great meals were enjoyed by the chapter and everyone went back to CNU rejuvenated and ready to finish the semester on the right foot. Theta Phi would like to thank the Richmond/Central Virginia Alumni Chapter for your continued love and support. AOE :)
